Filantropoli

Welcome to Filantropoli, a stunning handcrafted giant-sized game where players work together to build a carbon-neutral, sustainable village that is resilient to disasters. At the start of the game, you choose your character, who stewards an area of the village’s productive land fulfilling communal needs that arise during the gameplay. Each player or team also provides community services, generates resources, and plants trees that sequester carbon, benefiting all. But watch out, disasters can happen at any time, how will your community respond?

Filantropoli encourages teamwork for sustainability, as players collaborate to build a carbon-neutral village. Players face unique challenges in community service roles, local resource management, and disaster response. This giant version of the game, which can be played by up to 30 people at once is suitable for classrooms, team building, and community workshops. It promotes environmental stewardship and resilience, disaster risk reduction, collaboration, and sustainable living.
